Experience & Background

Dr. Boettiger is a global expert in corporate sustainability, climate change, agriculture, and food security. Previously global head of sustainability at Bayer Crop Science and Board Director of Bayer Crop Science India, deputy director at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, advised 40+ national governments, co-led the McKinsey Center for Agricultural Transformation, chaired the board of CIMMYT, the int'l research institute home to Norman Borlaug, and taught economics at UC Berkeley. Currently she works as a board member and as an advisor to companies, investors and foundations.
